are they making those things shorter !! nasty smell of fuel in the garage, nae bother i will sort that oot...put the car on the axle stands (full extension) and i swear you couldnt have got a f*g paper between me and the petrol tank. if i had sneezed i would have lifted the car off the stands! fuel pump had corroded..so it is an excuse to get the tank cleaned up. Its in good nick but one of the straps had almost gone along with the tightning bolt. I think once i get over the nicotine addiction ( which is ongoing but nearly there) i need to get over the lack of exercise addiction .....

with the fuel pump being sh*gged it has been leaking for a while obviously and the foam holder has fallen to bits....i am pretty sure that part is not going to exist. Would expanding foam work in there ? i could use the old pump as a template if you like.....any ideas welcome ! thanks

Graeme, if the foam bit is shagged i have one cause i might be putting a metal bracket around the fuel pump. But i won't really know until i see Trevor up in Orkney in January. But I'll let you know what we decide.
John.
