1st of October no more Road tax

Well thats my road tax for this year ran out .

OK i only got 6 months. But like most of you will also be doing the same. Where did that last six months go?

AS a club we have had more events than i was able to attend. but i was on the first run of the year & on the last club run of the year. So i was not with out having fun with fellow members in there Capri`s. After 22 years of driving Capri`s i still get a buzz from being part of a convoy .

Now i don't know about you but the worm weather has maid me take out the old girl a couple of times this week after putting her away for the winter & last night was just the same. One of the hottest days of the year road legal till midnight well it had to be done. That was the fastest I'm going to travail on four wheels for six months i can tell you. But wot fun .

After my run out last night i sat down & got my MOT out to see how many miles i had done this year. For my insurance i had put a limit of 1500 miles. After looking at my MOT i can tell you i did 1526 miles this year oops ( It was that last run that did it) I better get the wheels off today.

You're right, where has the last 6 months gone, just seems like a few weeks ago we were at Siteck Racing and now the season is over. Not to worry, 6 months to do some bits and pieces to the car before it all starts all over again.

A real luck break over the past week or so and the Capri was out of my garage too. Don't expect I'll have it out many more times this year but who knows with the weather we get.

It has been 3 weeks this Friday since Ive been out in my Capri & it has been killing me not being out in her .
But now look at the weather!!!!! Gritters out for the last 2 night & now there is snow in the air. I'm now so pleased i took the time not driving her but getting her ready for the cold Werther this last couple of weeks. She is as snug as a bug now . Unlike me god its cold out there. Wish some one would tuck me up for the next couple of months.
