Was up in Shetland last weekend seeing ma chum Joel that came to classic ford we me. I thought I'd finally converted him when he said he wanted to take me to look at a capri he had heard about and was wondering about buying.
Turned out not to be as quite good nick as he had been lead to believe. Floorpan pretty shot, doors gone, one wing gone aswell the other might have been salvagable, oh and it apparently didn't start although we never got as far as faffing with that as it was to cold and decision had been made against it.
Also went past a chap doing up a mk1 capri. Full on resto, don't have any pics buts he's been at it 2 years now, he's done all the rear end and worked forward ie, spring handers, chassis legs, wheel well, sills, floor pan, A posts, had the front end off when I was up just inner wings left and they are away to get new tops.
