As discussed at previous meetings I have managed to arrange for us to get a few Capris into the BP site at Dyce and take photos of the cars with their building as the backdrop.
I went out a couple of weeks ago and had a good look round. There are a few good spots where we could park up a line of cars - space for around 8.
The date for this will be Sunday 9th May at 2pm. I expect we should be able to get this done in an hour or so as their car park areas are very quiet on a Sunday.
For security and safety reasons they need to have the number of cars attending. They haven't asked for registrations.
If you're available and fancy getting your car photographed for the 2011 calendar then let me know via the forum.

That should be fine Fred so long as your car can clear the speed bumps in the car park

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who turned up this afternoon for the photo shoot. An excellent assortment of Capris and a bit of sunshine to show them off.
Not sure who's idea it was to head for the beach afterwards but it was a good one. A few more photos at Pittodrie and a run down the 'bullie'. I'll bet that's the first time there's been 6 Capris along there in a few years.
Just need to look through the photos now. Got a couple of hundred to select from. Hopefully got a couple of good ones !

Well done Dave, for setting up the visit to the BP complex & for booking the sunshine too! Thanks too to Lorna for going to great lengths to set the cars up for the photos. As ususl, my camera stayed in the car If its ok with you Stuey, I'll use the third one as my desktop background to brighten up my work pc? Cheers
