Was driving down to Edinburgh this afternoon and spotted a car transporter with an interesting load of cars heading north just this side of Perth. The top deck had five Mk1 Escorts and the lower deck had four Anglias. No Capris though. None of the cars looked like show cars but they didn't look like they were scrap either. Would have made a good photo if I'd had time to take one.

Couldn't get the link to work Stuart. Could this be a members only section ?
Had a look on the RSOC site but got no further there.
What I can tell you is the top deck had one estate Escort and I think the first car was missing headlights.

Try again! not sure why it never worked, am not a member of rsoc so not that. not sure the full ins and outs of this, but the cars are from Malta, and i'd assume the above pic was taken when they left so they've maybe changed trailers since then if it is even the same one. I think they're being brought over by these folks www.escortecosse.co.uk/

Just tried the link again from work and still no joy..................?
Anyway other than the configuration on the trailer that looks like them alright.
There couldn't be another load like that - could there ?

Had a look at the Escort Ecosse link. Have seen Pete Yule on Ebay too selling NOS panels.
Suddenly Malta seems a much more interesting place.

Did you see this lot advertised again this time in the January Classic Ford mag ? The same seller as on Ebay and looking for £22,000 for them. They came from Macedonia - found in a breaker's yard.
