Hi guys Just wanted to know if any one has had any experience with fibreglass bonnets with respect to fit/lines ect. In the last 20yrs of owning the car i have been through three metal ones due to rust bubbling through the front lip. Any points/ tips / ect would be really helpful Regards David

I have a Smith & Deakin bonnet on my car, which is quite a good fit for size although i do have aftermarket wings so dont really know how good it would fit on genuine ones. I painted mine matt black because it would need a lot of prep work to paint it to the standard you could get on a steel one, the surface is not flat it has slightly raised bits where the reinforcements are on the back of it
