Castle Combe racetrack are having a classic car show on the 6th on June and are celebrating 40 years of the capri at this show.
There doesn't seem to be any difinitive details on their website yet. A few members expressed an interest at one of the meetings on going to this so if your keen on going let it be known.

I've emailed Castle Combe for more info on this. Going by the website its going to be a classic, retro & sportscar day with car of the show being the Ford Capri. Club Entry form below looks like for 6 cars and 12 people we'd get free entry. (unless anyone wants track time). uk.geocities.com/stuey650/castlecombeclubapp.pdfEDIT - They've emailed me back, she's going to post out more info on their action days. The details in the email are far from concise, its almost like they don't know whats happening themselves. Plenty info on prices and track prices etc but not on what is actually happening. She tells me there's full information available on their stand at the Bristol classic car show on the 7th/8th feb....wasn't that last week... This is the only section really relevant "This year’s Classic, Retro and Sports Car Action Day is celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Ford Capri with Vince Woodman in his famous Cologne Capri the guest of honour. During the lunch break Vince will lead round a display of 39 other Capri’s carefully chosen to provide the best possible display for our visitors. Sunday 7th June sees our first ever Autojumble and again you will find full details on the Castle Combe Action Day Stand." Will update once I get the stuff through in the post.

A few of you were concerned about breakdown cover for the trip. I can confirm that the AA definately will attend no matter how old the car is. I asked them tonight when I got home and found them fixing my wife's car. Hope no one needs it but it is always reassuring to have.

As Stuart has said we've been and now we're back and with over 1100 miles none of the Capris missed a beat. ;D It was a fantastic show and I'm glad I went. I will do a report in a future magazine. Check out Stuarts pictures they're brilliant.
