welcome to the site. 23 capri's over 30 years, impressive amount. If its the same gold 3litre that was at Crail a few weeks ago with for sale signs on it then you've got yourself a cracking car from what I could see.

After returning to Capri's after a number of years I wondered about insurance for my 3ltr Ghia. I got what I thought was a great deal through Sureterm and a company called Highway. £121.65 fully comp with £50 xs and includes Legal Cover. Being 47 with advanced driving qualifications did help but still non the less a great price I thought. Also a chap I know has his own car spraying/bodywork shop near Stuartfield. Alan Ramsay Autospray at West Knock Farm, Stuartfield 01771 624793 or 07816664535 comes well recommended. Having had a few jobs done by him I have been delighted with his work and price. He is currently working on a Tickford Capri and he owns an original Mk 3 Escort 1600i himself. Give him a call and mention my name he will be delighted to speak to you and is a really friendly guy. Hope this helps and look forward to speaking with some of you soon. Colin Begg
